Father's Day Gifts

Father's Day is just around the corner and if daddy-o is a tool-loving handyman, listen up because here's what's hot in new power hand tools. It's something you can be pretty sure that dad won't already have -- an electric detail sander/scraper. They've only been around for a few years, and they are a nifty specialty tool. The body is cylindrical and can be adapted with a small triangular-shaped sanding pad to get into any corner or crevice. Remove the sanding pad and attach the scraper tip to scrape caulking or paint off glass or any other scratch-resistant surface. Consider getting dad a high-quality cordless screw drill with two batteries instead of one, a charger and a handy carrying case. All for about $60 or less. There are lots of new power tools out there. They're affordable and dad will love them. And that's the On The House tip for today.
