Tip of the Day

Thinking of Buying a New Home?

Don't make a move without having the property inspected by a pro. A qualified professional home inspector will investigate all aspects of the home's construction, such as the basement, foundation, plumbing, electrical, heating and roofing. While costs will vary according to the size and construction of the home, most home inspections will run in the neighborhood of $350, a modest investment compared with the costs of making expensive repairs. Look for an inspection company that will issue a well-detailed written report that makes recommendations and cost estimates for needed repairs. And that's the On The House tip for today.
