A garage door can account for 40 percent or more of a home's exterior. Consequently, it can have significant impact on the curb appeal of the home and hence its value. Consider these options when shopping for a new garage door: The one piece tilt-up models that were standard equipment with homes that many of us grew up in are steadily being replaced by sectional roll-ups.
