Oil or Latex? That is the Question

Here are painting tips we think you will love:

1) When choosing the type of paint, remember that oil-based paint is more durable and will last longer than latex-based paint.

2) Both oil- and latex-based paints come in enamel and flat finishes. However, enamel finishes are less porous and therefore easier to keep clean. Also, an enamel finish is better for use in wet areas such as the kitchen, bath and laundry.

And that's the On The House tip for today.
