Step-by-Step Rust Removal

1. Remove as much of rust as possible with a wire brush or a wire wheel on the end of an electric drill.

2. Remove remaining rust with NAVAL JELLY (a chemical rust remover, not a belly-button condiment).

3. Apply a zinc oxide or red oxide containing, oil-based metal primer.

4. Apply a finish coat of an oil-based semi-gloss enamel. It will resist abrasion and last longer.
