Hot Father's Day Gift Ideas

Father's day is just around the corner, and if dad is a do-it-yourselfer, read carefully because you'll want to know what's hot in power handtools. Something you can be almost sure of is that dad doesn't have an electric detail sander/scraper -- they've only been on the market for several years. The cylindrical body can be adapted with a small triangular-shaped sanding pad that can get dad into any corner or crevice, no matter how fine the detail. Remove the sanding pad and attach the scraper tip. Then, use it for scraping caulking or paint off glass or other scratch-resistant surfaces. Good-quality cordless screw drills now are available with keyless chucks, two batteries instead of one, a charger and carrying case. All for less than $60. And that's the On The House tip for today.
