Reverse Osmosis Eliminates Salt Too

You're up at 6 a.m., and out for your morning walk. When you return it's 30 minutes of aerobic exercise and then off to the shower. Just before you leave for work you gulp down a large glass of fresh cool tap water. Sounds great doesn't it? And it can be if your tap water is up-to-snuff. If not, you might be getting more salt and lead in your diet than is healthful -- whether you exercise or not. "How is he Doc?" "Well, he's strong as an ox, but he can't remember his name." Adding a filter is great for getting rid of smelly chemicals and some minerals, but not salt or lead. If you want a safe alternative, look into reverse-osmosis filtration. Lead, bacteria, minerals and salt are safely filtered away. And you just won't believe the taste. When you become a water snob, remember the Carey Bros. told you so. And that's the On The House tip for today.
