Repairing Damaged Window Screens

Does the inside of your home look like some one in your family is raising flies?

Does it look like the entire neighborhood is trying to raise flies inside your home?

If your answer to either of these questions is yes it may be time to rescreen.

Screen material used to be made from steel. That was followed by aluminum. And now most stores offer fiberglass mesh.

Wood-frame screens are still the most time consuming to replace, but if you haven't switched to fiberglass mesh yet give it a try. You'll find the job easier than it was with the old fashioned materials.

If you have metal-frame screens then you have no excuse for having flies in your house. For about ten minutes of your time and about $5 of your hard earned money you can rescreen just about any window opening - a little more for sliding doors.

Don't be bugged -- get screened.
