Buy Fluorescent Bulbs and Save

Want to see better and save money at the same time? We have an enlightening suggestion. Go fluorescent. That's right, fluorescent. Fluorescent lights now are made to fit right where your old incandescent is being used. All you have to do is screw out the old bulb, and screw in the new. Fluorescent bulbs use less energy -- about 20 percent less, give more light -- about 15 percent more. And, although they are about six times more expensive than the old-fashioned kind, they last 10 times as long. More light more evenly distributed, longer lasting and all for less cost. And that's the On The House tip for today.
