Protecting Plants In The Garden From Frost

We have a few tricks that can help to save your garden during chilling winter frosts. First, Remember that frost travels from high to low -- not from side to side. So an umbrella made from tight netting or burlap is all you'll need to nix old Jack Frost. Don't use colored trash bags for your umbrella, this could prevent photosynthesis from occurring. It's also important to mulch the ground surrounding the plant.
