Condensation at Windows

Sweating windows is a malady that many homes suffer this time of year. Aside from the inability to see out of one's window, heavy condensation can be a great breeding ground for mildew and fungus that will eventually result in rot. One of the most effective ways to deal with this problem is with the installation of exhaust fans in moisture-producing areas of the home like the bathroom, kitchen and laundry. In other areas of the home, decorative ceiling paddle fans run in the reverse direction will move warm air trapped at the ceiling down to the living area for heating efficiency, comfort and even dry windows. And that's the On The House tip for today.
