LIGHTING UP THE SKY…OR AT LEAST YOUR HOME

LIGHTING UP THE SKY…OR AT LEAST YOUR HOME

Replace your lights now. There are many more efficient lighting systems on the market today such as those with motion sensors, dimmable lighting controls, fluorescents and LED’s. Compact fluorescent lights, known as CFL’s, not only last many years longer than regular bulbs but they can save $25 or more in electricity over the life of the bulb compared to what you are replacing. And LED bulbs, while new, will eventually save even more. If every American home replaced just one light bulb with a more efficient one, we would save enough energy to light more than 2.5 million homes for a year and prevent greenhouse gases equivalent to the emissions of nearly 800,000 thousands cars. Wal-Mart has already sold some 200 million CFL’s. So hop on the bandwagon and get yours today.
