A VIEW TO SAVE ENERGY

A VIEW TO SAVE ENERGY

Five percent of the nation’s total energy literally goes out the window. In fact, if you have dual-pane low-E windows in your home, you are still losing up to 40% of your heating & cooling energy through those windows. That is because most dual-pane windows are 80% less insulative then your insulated walls. However one of the best things you can do to reduce energy usage at home is to replace your windows with super-insulating windows which are R-5 or higher. You can save hundreds of dollars each year by making the right choice, and also take advantage of a government rebate up to $1500. So replace those single- and dual-pane windows today with high R-value windows and you’ll be seeing savings the very same day.
