MY WINDOWS “R” BETTER THAN YOURS

MY WINDOWS “R” BETTER THAN YOURS

Everyone knows the R-Value of our insulated walls is R-11 or better, yet our doors and windows are often ignored when it comes to R-value. Did you know that all windows have a full-frame R-value? However this is rarely disclosed to the consumer, since a supposed energy saving dual-pane window is usually less then an R-3. When considering new windows, ask your window vendor for windows which have been tested to at least R-5 or better, full frame. With windows on the market now tested to R-11, there’s no reason to settle for less.
