REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE – EASY AS 1, 2, 3

REDUCE, REUSE, RECYCLE – EASY AS 1, 2, 3

Recycling and reusing products are a great way to reduce landfill waste and greenhouse gas emissions. But you can also pre-cycle waste, by buying products with minimal disposable packaging, buying items in bulk, and using your own bags when shopping. It takes energy to create product packing and it takes energy to take away the extra garbage created after you un-wrap it. By buying food and other products with less packaging or recycled packaging, you can reduce carbon dioxide production by up to 230 pounds a year per household.
