REUSEABLE FILTERS IN / DISPOSABLE FILTERS OUT

REUSEABLE FILTERS IN / DISPOSABLE FILTERS OUT

Air-conditioners and furnaces use filters which must be disposed of or cleaned. Instead of having to replace your disposal air filter several times a year, consider buying a permanent one that can be washed and re-used indefinitely. Most filters have lifetime warranties so you’ll save money in the long run as well as reduce the amount of waste you send to the landfill. Moreover, be sure to clean your filters at least once every three months. Dirty filters make the fans, and heating and cooling work much harder than they were designed too. If half of all U.S. households replaced their disposable air filters with a single reusable one, the number of air filters saved from landfills each year could blanket the entire land area of Washington D.C. And cleaning the new filters once every three months can reduce heating costs by at least 5 percent. So find your filter today, replace it with a permanent one, and keep it clean.
