Decorating With Brown 101

If you mix red, yellow, and blue, all the primary colors, you get brown.

Every color will pair up with brown; it’s definitely a good neutral color in almost any tint or tone! For a real blast of drama, paint your walls a dark brown, your furnishings and accessories will pop-up the dark background! If you are not into the darker richer flavors of brown select a lighter brown for the walls, now the furnishing and accessories are the focal point of the room. Whether it is dramatic dark or soft and light, brown is known to make people feel safe and comfortable, grounded and at ease.
