Try this delicious marinade and sauce on chicken or pork kabobs. Add pineapple chunks on the skewers to make it tangy and special.
Marinade:
2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
2 garlic cloves, chopped and mashed into a paste
1 tablespoon Dom DeLuise All Purpose Blend
1/4 cup vegetable oil
In a large bowl, whisk together all ingredients. Add chicken or pork loin
chunks and marinate a couple of hours in the refrigerator. When grilling
kabobs, brush skewers with marinade at each turn, until chicken or pork is
cooked through, but still juicy. Discard any unused marinade.
Sweet & Sour Sauce:
1/4 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons distilled white vinegar
2 tablespoons sugar
2 tablespoons light soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon sesame oil
In a large bowl, whisk all ingredients together and chill until ready to
use. Serve with marinated Kabobs for dipping.
Makes enough marinade and sauce for about 2 pounds of chicken or pork.
