Halloween Pumpkin Cake

Get your belly ready for halloween!

1 large can packed pumpkin
1 can evaporated milk
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
2 teaspoons cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon ginger
1 yellow cake mix
1 cup chopped walnuts
1 cup melted butter
vanilla ice cream (optional)
chopped Reece's peanut butter cups (optional)

Preheat your oven to 350 degrees.

In a large mixing bowl, combine the first nine ingredients and mix thoroughly. Grease a 9 x 13 or 10 x 12 baking pan. Pour pumpkin mixture into baking pan, top with dry cake mix, chopped walnuts and drizzle with butter.

Bake for 1 hour. Let cake stand several hours before cutting. Cut into squares.

For a special treat for your ghouls and goblins, serve with vanilla ice cream and chopped bits of candy!

Serves 12 or more!
