Carol's Favorite Sausage & Sauerkraut

My wife Carol and I just love this dish, and it makes a quick and easy supper.

1 teaspoon olive oil
1 pound cooked German sausage (Bratwurst)
2 cans sauerkraut, drained
1 teaspoon caraway seeds
1/3 cup brown sugar

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add sausage and cook until browned on all sides.

Transfer cooked sausage to a large casserole dish. Top with sauerkraut, caraway seeds and sprinkle with brown sugar.

Cover with foil and bake until bubbling hot! (about 30 minutes)

Serves: Carol & me… or 4 regular people!
