6 tablespoons olive oil
3 chickens, cut into serving pieces
2 tablespoons Dom DeLuise Italian Blend
2 onions
1 green pepper
1 yellow pepper
1 red pepper
4 garlic cloves, minced
1 cup white wine
2 28-oz. cans chopped tomatoes
10 basil leaves, torn
Preheat oven to 350 degrees
In a large skillet, heat olive oil. Add some of the chicken pieces and sauté until skin is browned. Transfer browned chicken into a large casserole dish. Continue to sauté pieces until all the chicken is browned and transferred to the casserole.
Sprinkle chicken with Dom DeLuise Italian Blend.
In the same sauté pan, sauté the onions, peppers and garlic until peppers begin to soften and garlic is golden. Add the wine and cook about 5 minutes more. Add the tomatoes and basil and simmer about 5 minutes.
Pour the sauce over the chicken. Cover with foil and bake for about 1 hour.
