Ron and Sheila Clark had us over for dinner and Sheila made this delicious hors de oeuvre. When I asked her for the recipe, I was shocked to find out there isn't one ounce of meat in it!
1 large onion, chopped
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cans of peas, drained
3 hardboiled eggs
1 cup of walnuts
1 slice of rye bread, broken up
3 tablespoons lemon juice
4 tablespoons soy sauce
Saute onion in olive oil until golden brown. Place all ingredients in a food processor or blender and blend until fairly smooth.
