Make Your Own Buffet

When you are a Busy Cook and you entertain, you need quite a few tricks and recipes up your sleeve.

For a party that's easy and really fun for your guests, have a "Make Your Own Buffet".

One of the best things about these menus is that all of the food is make-ahead. Whether you're letting soups and stews simmer away in crockpots, or have dessert fully made and tucked in the fridge or freezer, these recipes are all easy on you.

A Soup Buffet, a Sandwich Buffet, a Salad Buffet, and a Tostada Buffet. Nothing better on a cold day then a few hearty soups, a big basket of breads and a simple salad.

And, make the grocery store work for you....You can also buy a lot of the food for these parties. For instance, in today's supermarkets, you can usually find all the ingredients for a salad buffet, fully prepared! The deli, of course, is a fabulous resource for soups and sandwiches. So go on...throw a party and enjoy the ease of it!
