Fall Quick and Easy Dinner

Fall is here, and apples, my favorite fall produce are full of flavor this season.

It’s time for another quick cook and super easy recipe so listen hear….

Use a tart apple in this easy recipe; Granny Smith or Macintosh work well.

You’ll need:

4 thick-cut boneless pork chops
1 large apple, sliced
3 Tbsp. brown sugar
And a handful of raisins
1 can beef broth

Season the flour with salt and pepper and dredge each chop in the flour to coat. Heat a large sauté pan with olive oil and brown the chops all over. Add the apple, brown sugar, raisins, and beef broth. Cover the pan and simmer for 45 minutes. It’s just that easy for tender, flavorful pork chops.

Serve the pork chops with a food-friendly Pinot Grigio for the perfect balance and crispness to offset the sweetness of the apples and the richness of the pork.
