Taste everything!

Have you considered the Tasting Menu lately?

Chef's in many upscale restaurants will often offer a tasting menu that featured small portions of several dishes as a single meal. Tasting menus may be offered to provide a sample of a type of cuisine, or house specialties, or to take advantage of fresh seasonal ingredients. This is often a great way to learn about a Chef's style or taste a few of the signature dishes on a menu as opposed to just choosing one. Along with the Tasting Menu, a flight or sampling of wines is often ordered and paired with the dishes to show you a perfect food and wine match. It's a great way to teach your palate all about pairing wines and to find out what you like best. So expand your horizons and try something new. You just might fall in love with a new dish at your favorite dining spot!

I hope you’ll join me here every week for another delicious tip. And check out onthehouse.com or chefjamie.com for more fabulous food.
