Got a new tool!

So you asked…What’s a Chef’s favorite Kitchen Tool?

My newest favorite is a microplane grater. These long thin planes will turn a block of Parmesan Cheese into a huge cloud of billowy fluff. For citrus zest the Microplane takes off just the very thinnest layer of the outside of the fruit which contains the intense and delicious citrus oils. This is the best tools I've tried for fine grating and zesting.

And for non-stick baking, buy a Silicone Baking Mat. Line your cookie sheet with your Silicone mat for stick free cookies, scones, dipped fruit and more!
