Wedding Season

Champagne and wedding cake are not the best pairing. For all of you girls and gents getting married, or those that know a bride or groom to be -- read on!

Today's bubblies are dry and full of lemony tartness…Pair them with a fluffy sponge cake topped with sugary frosting and everyone in the wedding photo will be puckering.

The rule: When pairing a wine with something sugary, make sure that the wine is sweeter than the dessert. Look for a dessert wine, like a late harvest Riesling or an ice wine.
