Cut Cholesterol

Diet is your first defense.

If you have high cholesterol then chances are you're trying to change the way you eat.

Your cholesterol level has a lot to do with your risk of getting heart disease and diet is the first defense.

Cut cholesterol through a combination of foods that help lower "bad" cholesterol

Eat more Viscous fiber. This "sticky" type of fiber is found in oats, barley, beans and vegetables like okra and eggplant.

Recent studies have proven that soy does help lower cholesterol levels, so look for soy protein.

Also eat nuts! Eat a variety of nuts, including walnuts, which pack in the most omega-3 fatty acids.
