Steps to Paint the Foundation of Your House

Question?

The foundation of our house was painted a long time ago, and I want to paint it again. Should I use a primer? What about a specific type of paint?

Answer!

Since the foundation has been painted before, you probably don’t need a primer. However you will have to do some preparation. Use a wire brush or a pressure washer to make sure that the surface is clean is clean and free of all loose paint. Once this has been done you can apply a coat of high quality, acrylic, water-based paint.
