Cedar Carpet

Question?

What are the pros and cons of using cedar in a closet as opposed to carpet or vinyl?

Answer!

A great question with a simple answer: The vapors given off by cedar have a refreshing aroma, and, at the same time drive away wool-eating moths. That's the pro. The con is even easier to understand. Cedar flooring costs about $60/square yard installed. Many high-quality carpets and vinyl can be purchased and installed for less than half that price.
