Leaky Faucet

I have a leaky bathroom faucet. Can you tell me some simple instructions to fix it? Please include specific tools, and parts needed.
Judy

It sounds like you may have a faulty gasket. Changing a faucet gasket is easy. But remember, if it is leaking from the valve housing it is the packing gasket or washer and if it is leaking from the tip of the faucet it is the valve gasket. Please understand the previous terms before proceeding. Next, type "valve gasket" into our search engine. There you will find 800 words or so and a picture that will help walk you through the repair. By the way, the parts for the repair are under a dollar for two handle faucets and about $5 for single handle.
