Explanation of Torgonal

Question?

In one of your recent columns you had a question on "Torginol" flooring and you asked for help from your readers. I believe the reader is referring to Torginol Seamless Flooring. We used to make a similar flooring system (FLECTO Seamless Plastic Coating System) which consisted of a white latex base coat, color flakes, and a clear top coat (either acrylic or moisture-cure urethane).

We have discontinued this product line but, fortunately, the original manufacturer of Torginol Seamless Flooring is still very much in business. Even better is the fact that they have agreed to service all customers (theirs and ours) who require more product, patch kits, etc. Their system is similar to ours, though they sell an epoxy as the base coat.
