Cover Shower Pan with Tile

Question?

My shower is in good condition, but my shower pan is a mess. One thing I've not tried yet is installing small sheets of tile to cover the whole thing, but, I don't know what to do when I reach the drain.

Answer!

Forget the tile, you'll end up with a mess. Since your shower walls are in good shape, let's do something that won't disturb them. Look in the yellow pages under "Plumbing Fixtures" for a Plumbing Fixture Refinishing Contractor. The $350 or so you spend will save much headache and make your shower floor look brand-new again. The price quoted should include a new chrome drain and a five year warranty.
