Squirrel-Cage Fan

Question?

In a recent article you wrote on range hoods for the stove, you mentioned that the squirrel-cage fan operated better than the conventional blade type. I would like to upgrade to that type and would like to know if you could give me a product name or source?

William

Answer!

Actually, all you have to do is to make sure to ask for a range hood that has a squirrel-cage fan instead of a bladed fan. According to our sources, practically every manufacturer that makes range hoods offers a squirrel-cage model. Nutone, Broan, Viking and Thermadore are just a few of the companies.
