If so, it's time to tackle the messiest, most unorganized room in your home. If you don't think it's an important room, try selling a home without one. Would anyone buy a home and leave their car, washer, dryer, bike and tools outside? We think not. So, it's garage-improvement time. Got bare studs? Drywall is a good start. Also, tackle floors. Clean grease spots with cat litter and a cola beverage. Then, use chlorine bleach and powdered laundry detergent in very hot water. Next, hang as much stuff as you can on walls and from the ceiling. Then add shelves, cabinets and paint. Before you know it, you will be looking for reasons to spend time in the garage. And that's the On The House tip for today.
