Tip of the Day On The House with the Carey Bros.

DIY wood filler

Just mix what you 'sweep up' with some liquid adhesive in a cup.

Need a little wood filler for a weekend project? Here's a tip that just might save you a trip. If a project needs a little wood filler but you're all out of the product, try this simple solution. Just mix a little sawdust with some wood glue until you get a filler paste consistency. "Squoosh" it in, and sand it smooth after it dries. If you want to save a trip and some dough to boot, scoop up a little sawdust and put it aside. Then, when you need wood filler, you're in business. And that's the On The House Tip for today.
