When a storm causes a blackout at night, you won’t always have emergency light. You could be without a lantern, working flashlight or even a candle. When this happens, here are a couple of emergency measures to take. If all you have is a simple birthday candle, you can make it burn big and bright by pushing it into a jar of petroleum jelly with just the tip sticking out. Light it and it’ll burn for hours.
