Fiberglass doors now are a popular alternative to both traditional wood and steel. They offer deep rich realistic wood grains that accept and hold stains just like fine wood. Inside CFC-free polyurethane (that's chloro fluorethane carbonate-free) is foamed between the wood rails and styles. Surface panels are compression-molded from a tough fiberglass composite. When put together, fiberglass doors are strong and highly resistant to weathering, swelling, warping or splintering, making them a great choice for hot or cold climates.
