Fiberglass Doors

Beautiful new doors of fiberglass... are growing in popularity fast!

Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom or night stays them from completion of their appointed duty. (We refer to doors constructed of fiberglass.) Starting right at the front door, technology is giving Mother Nature a run for her money with products that look, act and feel like real wood. Fiberglass doors now are a popular alternative to both traditional wood and steel. They offer deep rich realistic wood grains that accept and hold stains just like fine wood. Inside CFC-free polyurethane (that's chloro fluorethane carbonate-free) is foamed between the wood rails and styles. Surface panels are compression-molded from a tough fiberglass composite. When put together, fiberglass doors are strong and highly resistant to weathering, swelling, warping or splintering, making them a great choice for hot or cold climates. They won't rust, corrode or oxidize, either. They're also ideal for ocean climates. And that's the On The House tip for today.
