Garbage Disposal Plug

The discharge hose from the dishwasher empties into the garbage disposal. A close examination will reveal a plug in the disposal that closes or seals off the dishwasher water-hose inlet fitting. This plug should be left in place when there is no dishwasher hook-up, but must be removed when a dishwasher is connected to the garbage disposal.
