Bumper Sticker Removal
Try heating an old bumper sticker with a hair dryer for a minute or two. It should peel right off.
Today always has been a big day for politics. TV’s “Meet The Press” began on this day in 1947, and “Face the Nation” first aired on this day in 1954. On both shows, then and now, candidates state their views and ask for your vote. On election day, some will be elected to office and some will be defeated. Tomorrow about half of us will be driving around with bumper stickers telling the world we voted for the loser. To avoid this minor embarrassment, clear your bumper if your choice went in the dumper. You don’t have to scrape, rip and peel. Instead, try heating the bumper sticker with a hair dryer for a minute or two. It should peel right off. If not, coat stubborn ones with a spray lubricant and let it sit a while. Cold cream or mayonnaise works, too. And that's the On The House tip for today.
